A trust fund is something set up typically by a wealthy person, the Grantor or benefactor to benefit some other person or group of people, the beneficiary such as one or more family members or the beneficiaries of a charity such as orphans and widows. The trust will be managed by a third party, the Trustee according to the terms set by the Grantor for the benefit of the Beneficiary. A trust is a three party arrangement between the Grantor, the Trustee and the Beneficiary.
